With the data logger type 165B8A, shock monitoring up to ±15 g can be performed for up to half a year.

The MSR165, with its integrated ±15 g acceleration sensor, has proven to be very well suited for measuring light shocks and vibrations, for example when shipping parcels or pallets. Shock values up to ±15 g can be recorded with a measuring rate of up to 1,600 measurements per second over the entire measuring period.

Recording of over 10,000 shocks

The MSR165's memory capacity of over 2 million measurement parameters is sufficient to record over 10,000 shocks. For a g-analysis, it is often necessary to know the history before the shock. In the case of a short, hard shock, for example, the measured values before the trigger value is exceeded are already of interest. The MSR165 records the measurement parameters 32 milliseconds before the event. In this way, you can not only see that a hard shock occurred, but also the exact progression of the shock.

MSR ShockViewer software for analysis

After recording, the shock and vibration data from your logger can be transferred to a computer via USB and evaluated. The scope of delivery of the MSR165 includes the MSR PC software for configuring and evaluating the data as well as the MSR ShockViewer evaluation software. With the MSR ShockViewer, extensive measurement data can be clearly displayed, shock events can be quickly analysed and conclusively documented.
